Overview
West Hollywood's smart city strategic plan includes five core areas of sustainability, mobility, accessibility, resiliency, and transparency (SMART). They are looking to make several efforts to bring data-driven decision-making to departments citywide, including the introduction of metrics, performance management and dashboards, and data analytics and visualizations. They are also supporting a culture of data at City Hall by building capacity for data analytics, developing new tools to transparently track progress on key city priorities, and looking at how tech can enhance public safety.
